One of YIKE's core strategy is to organize Community events that aim to publicise the work of youth groups to the community, give thematic information on youth related issues as well as celebrate significant events in the year.

Three events are scheduled and celebrated. These are, during the the week of Global action on small arms and light weapons, on the international day of Youth and on the World Aids day. However in partnership with other like minded organization, we organize othet community events like street expressions, where youth talented in music are given an opportunity to show case their talent.
